LIV Young Lawyers

Established to enhance the legal skills, knowledge and professional networks of law students, graduates and new lawyers (regardless of age) throughout their career.

LIV Young Lawyers provides a forum for new lawyers to initiate and express fresh ideas and directions on legal and social issues for the benefit of the profession and the community.

The Young Lawyers’ Section (YLS) was established by the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) Council in March 1979 to enhance the legal skills, knowledge and professional networks of members in the early stages of career development.

The YLS is made up of an Executive and the following seven committees:
